1983-1984: Getty Canadian Minerals conducted airborne magnetic and electromagnetic surveys, Lake bottom sampling, prospecting, sampling and trenching. Two grids were established to conduct ground geophysical surveys, mapping, prospecting, lithogeochemical and humus sampling, trenching and 995 m of diamond drilling in 7 holes. 1987-1988: Buffalo Resources Ltd. conducted and IP survey between Papaonga and Avis lakes and drilled 645.18 m in 6 holes between Papaonga and Curie lakes.
