Exploration History

1978 St Joseph Exploration Ltd carried out EM and magnetometer surveys they drilled one hole in 1979. 1983-84 Getty Canadian Minerals Ltd. Carried out a regional airborne survey, regional lake sediment survey and regional mapping and lithogeochemical surveys. 1986 Noranda Exploration Company carried out horizontal loop EM and Mag surveys, geological mapping and sampling. 1981 The OGS carried completed an AEM survey. 1989 L Rosenthal staked one until south. 1996 Murgor Resources Ltd acquired the property. A series of trenches south east of Maskooch Lake was completed. 2007 Amador Gold Corp completed a helicopter AEM survey. 2008 Amador Gold Corp, undertook prospecting and soil survey work followed by a trenching program 2009 completed a 5 hole 1579.6 m drill program. 2021: Cross River Ventures conducted prospecting, mapping and collected grab samples at the showing.

Nov 20, 2014 (A Wilson) - GRADE 1984 TRENCH AND GRAB SAMPLES: 0.43%CU/1M,0.30%CU/2.5M; 0.41%CU + 320 PPB AU, GRADE 1986 Trench samples collected in 1984 returned values of 0.43% Cu over 1 m, 0.30% Cu over 1 m, 0.41% Cu and 320 ppb Au. Grab samples collected in 1986 returned 0.091 oz/t Au. Assays from DDH MK09-04 returned 670 ppb Au over 1m, MK09-01 returned 1350 ppm Cu over 1 m . 2021: Grab Samples returned 0.04 g/t Au, 0.30% Cu and 0.06 g/t Au, 0.14% Cu (Cross River Ventures, news release, November 4, 2021).
