Exploration History

1958-63: stripping, trenching, sampling, geological and geophysical surveys. 1964: geophysical surveys. 901 m of DD in 15 holes north of Bug Lake. 169 m of DD in 2 holes south of Bug Lake. 1985-88: sampling, geological, lithogeochemical, airborne and ground geophysical surveys. 1992-95: geological, airborne and ground geophysical surveys. Unknown amount of DD.

Mineralization Comments

Aug 04, 2022 (Q Unknown) - 1964: Drilling north of Bug Lake intersected several zones of mineralization. Best intersections assayed: 0.61% Cu over 3.5 m; 1.37% Cu over 5.4 m; 2.09% Cu over 2.3 m; and 1.44% Cu over 6.9 m. 1985-88: Grab samples assayed up to 12% Cu, chip samples assayed 1.98% Cu over 5.2 m. 1992-95: Drilling intersections assayed: 1.08% Cu over 9.8 m; 0.86% Cu over 12.23 m; and 1.32% Cu over 5.2 m. Mineralization included chalcopyrite, pyrite and molybdenite. It is hosted within granitic pegmatite dikes.
