Jul 14, 2010 (C Ravnaas) - The pegmatie is hosted by mafic metavolcanics (amphibolite) within the Eastern Petalite Zone, tourmaline-apatite-muscovite pegmatite, plagioclase-rich pod, quartz-rich pod.

Mineralization Comments

Jul 14, 2017 (C Ravnaas) - The ore minerals are petalite, ferrotantalite, ferrowodginite, cassiterite. The pegmatite contains abundant petalite, quartz, albite, K-feldspar, muscovite; accessory spodumene, beryl, apatite, tourmaline (schorl), garnet (spessartine), oxides (ferrotantalite, ferrowodginite, cassiterite, microlite).


Jul 29, 2019 (Therese Pettigrew) - Sampling at James Dike (located at NAD83 UTM Zone 15 393990 m E, 5570550 m N) returned assays of up to 10 ppm U3O8, 10 ppm Th, 714 ppm Be, 376 ppm Cs, 6100 ppm Rb, 211 ppm Ta, and 1.4% P (Assessment report 20000003981).
