Mineralization Comments

Nov 21, 2014 (A Wilson) - Mineralization occurs in shear zones and irregular patches. The best samples collected by the ODM returned assays of 0.17% Cu and 0.12% Ni over a 10 foot channel sample. Gossan zones east of the main trench reportedly returned values of 0.50% Ni and 0.80% Cu over a 12 ft width; and 1.08% Ni and 0.96% Cu over a 13 ft width in a different area.

Nov 04, 2022 (Therese Pettigrew) - At both showings, Cu-Ni mineralization is localized in the vicinity of a contact between metadiabase and basic metavolcanics, both of Early Precambrian age. At the west showing, pyrite, chalcopyrite, and pyrrhotite were found in shear zones and irregular patches, as well as in scattered quartz veins. Near shearing, the rocks are chloritized and in part carbonatized. Best sampling from the west showing retruend 1.p8% Ni, 0.96% Cu across 13 feet (SMDR 00519).
