Exploration History

1961: Newconex Canadian Exploration carried out mapping, trenching, and magnetometer, SP and EM surveys. 1962: Newconex drilled 2 x-ray drill holes totalling 48.8 m. 1963-72: Cochenour Willians Gold Mines Ltd conducted programmes. 2000: reconnaissance mapping and geochemical sampling programme was initiated on the property, exploration program resulted in stripping, sampling and detailed mapping project and drilling program was completed in the fall of 2000 by Goldcorp Inc.

Jul 14, 2020 (Therese Pettigrew) - This showing occurs at the nose of a large fold in iron formation (Assessment report 52K16NE8106). DDH F-1 returned 0.46% Ni and 0.05% Cu over 0.64 m from a serpentinized amphibolite with pyrrhotite, niccolite, chalcopyrite, and pyrite, and 0.12% Ni and 0.03% Cu over 0.76 m from an iron formation with pyrite and pyrrhotite (Assessment report 52K16NE8144). s
