Mineralization Comments

Nov 21, 2014 (A Wilson) - A grab sample collected from an outcrop returned an assay of 0.36% Zn, 0.15% Pb

Nov 27, 2020 (Therese Pettigrew) - A narrow unit of metasediments on the southeastern shore of Wolf Bay was noted to contain several percent disseminated to stringy pyrite and pyrrhotite and a grab sample taken by the OGS field party returned 0.36% Zn and 0.15% Pb. These metasediments contain an average of 5% sulphide mineralization as disseminations, fracture fillings, laminae, and irregular stringers, show trace amounts of chalcopyrite and sphalerite over distances of several feet (Riley, 1975).
