Dec 07, 2005 (K R Kettles) - GEOLOGICAL DESCRIPTION: Mafic volcanics in this area are cut by a wide, N45deg.W striking shear zone (30 m wide), that contans a fissile 'mud seam' carrying free gold. It is located 10 m north of the south edge of the zone. The south edge of the shear zone contains the 'main vein', a quartz vein 15 cm wide, that was traced in pits and trenches over a distance of 200 m. The 'north vein' marking the north edge of the shear zone is a quartz vein 75 cm wide and at least 175 m long. Both veins are well mineralized with sulpides but gold values have been reported only from the main vein. DEPOSIT DESCRIPTION: A large shear zone contains two quartz veins. One of these veins carries gold, and is 15 cm wide and at least 200m long. GEOPHYSICAL DATA: The occurrence is marked by a weak E.M. anomaly (Bray, 1979B).

Dec 07, 2005 (K R Kettles) - MDI1 DATA: GRADE - SELECTED PIT SAMPLES: MAIN ZONE:TYPICALLY 0.05-0.20 OPT AU, ONE SAMPLE 1.71 OPT AU/6.1M, VISIBLE GOLD: IN 'MUD SEAM' BETWEEN N AND S ZONES, GRADE 1987 DDH: DDH-87-04 COLLARED ON FAIRLIE TWP, VALUES OF 20 PPB AU Selected grab samples from the main zone typically assayed 0.05 to 0.20 oz/ton (1.714 to 6.857g/tonne)Au. One sample assayed 1.71 oz/ton (58.627 g/tonne)Au.
Nov 13, 2020 (Therese Pettigrew) - DDH NHL87-04 was designed to test at depth several quartz veins that returned gold values up to 0.488 oz/t (16.7 g/t Au) from old trenches. Numerous quartz veins and vein stockwork were intersected which returned gold values of 20 ppb (Assessment report 52M01SE0007).
Dec 07, 2005 (K R Kettles) - The country rock is quite carbonatized (Bray,1979B).
