Dec 07, 2005 (K R Kettles) - GEOLOGICAL DESCRIPTION: This locality is underlain by interbedded chert-magnetite iron formation, siliceous marble and siltstone (Riley 1978). A diamond drill hole (West Red Lake Gold Mines Limited, 1958a) obtained several low-grade gold intersections in these rocks.
