Dec 07, 2005 (K R Kettles) - At this locality irregular masses of carbonatized mafic rocks are contained within felsic tuff that strikes east-west and dips steeply. Numerous auriferous quartz veins cross-cut the mafic rock and extend into the felsic pyroclastics. Carbonatization at this locality and at other places along the north shore of Bridget Lake may be evidence for an exhalative system that contributed to the formation of the chemical sediments to the south.

Dec 07, 2005 (K R Kettles) - Irregular masses of carbonatized mafic rocks are contained within E-W striking felsic tuff.

Oct 14, 2020 (K R Kettles) - Numerous auriferous quartz veins in carbonatized mafic rocks are exposed over an area of approximately 18.2 m by 9.1 m. The quartz carbonate veins contain gold and minor pyrite. Representative assays from 1963 are the following: 7 ASSAYS TR./0.43 M; 7.24 OPT AU /0.58 M; 0.72 OPT AU/0.09 M; 2.94 OPT AU/0.30 M; 0.12 OPT AU/0.61 M; 0.54 OPT AU/0.21 M; AND 2.28 OPT AU/0.30 M. 2009 Numerous samples taken Assays ranging from 0.875 - 60 ppm Au and 1810 - 3720 ppm Cu (Assessment report 20000006127).
Oct 14, 2020 (Therese Pettigrew) - Sample 11039 taken in 2004 returned 26.1 ppm Au, 6.0 ppm Ag, and 1165 ppm Cu. Sample 11042 returned 3.79 ppm Au, 60.1 ppm Ag, and 6870 ppm Cu. Sample 11377 returned 31.0 g/t Au, 10.8 ppm Ag, and 2400 ppm Cu (Assessment report 52M01SE2041).
Dec 07, 2005 (K R Kettles) - The mafic rocks hosting the veins are carbonatized.
