Exploration History

1929-1934: B. Phillips carried out prospecting and sampling. 1961: Kornell DD 1 670 ft. 1961-69: W. Stupack drilled 9 DDH totalling 267.6 m. 1987: Shane Resources Ltd. carried out soil geochemistry, mapping, sampling. 1988: Shane Resources drilled 2 DDH totalling 284 m. 1992-93: A.J. Maciejewski carried out stripping, trenching, and sampling. 1996: Battle Mountain carried out mapping, sampling, IP and magnetometer surveys. 2004: Goldcorp carried out prospecting and sampling and relogged and resampled the Shane Resources drillholes. 2009: Halo Resources Ltd. carried out mapping, sampling

Mineralization Comments

Nov 22, 2011 (A McKee) - 1987 Shane resources ltd obtained an assay of 0.55 oz/ton from a grab sample of quartz stringers on a highly carbonatized andesite 2009 Halo Resources ltd. Grab samples taken - highest assays: 0.331 ppm AU and 54 ppm CU


Oct 15, 2020 (Therese Pettigrew) - Sample 3917 returned 0.28 oz/t Au (9.6 g/t Au) from Trench 1 (Assessment report 52M01SE9999). DDH SH8806 retuned 13.0 g/t Au over 0.3 m from a sheared pyroclastic tuff with specks of visible gold (Assessment report 52M01SE2039). Samples collected by Goldcorp in 2004 returned up to 28.9 ppm Au (Assessment report 52M01SE2041).
