Access Description: 26 Km West of Red Lake. Access by Flat lake road or by boat from Red Lake
1948: W. Stupack drilled 1 DDH totalling 38.1 m. 1958: Cochenour Willans drilled 4 DDH totalling 107.9 m. 1963-72 Cochenour Willans Gold Mines Ltd conducted programmes. 2000: reconnaissance mapping and geochemical sampling programme was initiated on the property, exploration program resulted in stripping, sampling and detailed mapping project and drilling program was completed in the fall of 2000 by Goldcorp Inc.

Jul 15, 2020 (Therese Pettigrew) - Iron formation south of Trout Bay and south and southwest of Muskrat Bay contains pyrrhotite, pyrite, and small amounts of chalcopyrite and sphalerite. Chalcopyrite and sphalerite occur most commonly along bedding planes. Grab samples from the trenches returned up to 1.55% Cu and 0.12% Zn (Riley, 1968).
