1984: Biron Bay Resources Ltd. conducted EM and magnetometer surveys. 1987: Biron Bay Resources drilled 1 DDH totalling 341.3 m. 2015-16: Bounty Gold Corp. carried out prospecting and sampling.

Mineralization Comments

Oct 31, 2014 (A Wilson) - A grab sample collected by the OGS returned an assay of 0.53% Ni, 0.38% Cu, 0.24 oz/t Ag (0.24 Opt). DDH BB-01-77 returned an assay of 0.065 oz/t Au.


Oct 29, 2020 (Therese Pettigrew) - Grab samples collected in 2015 returned up to 0.875 ppm Au from a mafic metavolcanics with quartz vein but no noticeable mineralization (Assessment report 20000014001). DDH BB-10-87 returned up to 2.0 ppm Au from a felsic volcanic with quartz vein (Assessment report 52M01SE0016).
