Nov 21, 2014 (K R Kettles) - At this locality a diamond drill hole intersected an auriferous sulphide-rich zone in altered mafic lava. This locality is underlain by mafic lava and clastic sediments that strike N45deg.E and dip vertically. The volcanic rock contains disseminated sulphide throughout, and cleavage is parallel to bedding. In the auriferous zone sulphide stringers, 0.5 cm thick, intersect cleavage at roughly 25 deg.
