Lithology Comments

Nov 22, 2014 (K R Kettles) - At this locality felsic pyroclastic rocks contain a lens of carbonatized mafic rock. Bedding strikes N65 degs W and dips 72 degs N. A 2.44 m wide zone in the mafic rocks contains many carbonate and quartz stringers running parallel to the bedding. These stringers contain sulphides and gold. The mafic rocks also contain disseminated sulphides. .

Mineralization Comments

Mar 22, 2012 (K R Kettles) - A lens of mafic volcanics in a large unit of felsic pyroclastics contains a 2.44 m wide zone of quartz and carbonate stringers. The stringers contain gold with minor pyrite, chalcopyrite, and arsenopyrite. A grab sample of chalcopyrite-rich material assayed 3.55 opt Au and 1.80% Cu. 2009 Trench and grab samples taken in this area ASSAYS: trench samples: ranging from 0.002-0.350 ppm at an average length of 50 cm. Grab samples: 1.435 ppm Au 1800 ppm Cu

Alteration Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (K R Kettles) - The mafic volcanics containing the stringer zone are carbonatized and silicified.
