Circa 1936: W. Stupak and R.F. Dynes carried out prospecting, DD-300ft. 1966: Cochenour Exploration drilled 1 DDH totalling 40.24 m. 1969-70: Cochenour Explorations Ltd. carried out mapping, HLEM, soil survey. 2002: Redstar Gold Corp. carried out sampling. 2008: Halo Resources Ltd. carried out mapping and sampling.

Mineralization Comments

Nov 07, 2014 (A Wilson) - A grab sample collected by the OGS in 1960 returned trace gold and silver. DDH PS66-59 (KRL53809) returned assays of 0.06% Cu and 0..01% Ni over 8.8 ft


Jul 31, 2020 (Therese Pettigrew) - Sample 385514 returned 2510 ppm Cu and 22 ppm Ni from a very fine-grained, foliation parallel sulphide vein in a crystal tuff. Sample 385515 returned 580 ppb Au from a black quartz vein (Assessment report 52M01SE2022).
