Access Description: No. 3 shaft situated on KRL5020 approximately 3,500 feet north of shaft No. 1 Uchi Mine.



Exploration History

1937: Woco Gold Developments - conducted stripping, trenching, and diamond drilling. 1937-38: Kenelda Gold Mines Ltd. and Newmont Mining Corp. conducted surface development including diamond drilling. 1939-40: Hanalda Gold Mines Ltd. sank a vertical shaft 322 ft with levels at 150 and 300 feet. Drifting totalled 247 feet and crosscutting 326 feet. 9 DDH were drilled underground for a total of 944 ft. 1940-41: Uchi Gold Mines Ltd. conducted lateral work totalling about 1400 feet of drifting and 500 feet of crosscutting.1966: Salem Exploration - conducted an airborne magnetic survey. 1969: Little Long Lac - flew airborne electromagnetic, magnetic and gamma-ray spectrometer. 1973: Selco Exploration - ground magnetic survey, vertical and horizontal loop EM. 1980: St. Joseph Explorations - conducted magnetic and electromagnetic geophysical survey. 1 DDH totalling 88 m. 1987: Lac Minerals - conducted a humus geochemical survey, prospecting, overburden drilling, geological mapping, magnetic, EM, IP and DD. 1988: Silverside Resources - Flew airborne magnetic and EM. 1990: Lac Minerals - geological mapping and sampling. 1993-94: drilling. 2006: E-Energy Ventures Inc. acquired the property. Mar 18, 2014 (Syed Ali) - MILCAP: ORE MILLED AT UCHI MINE SITE SMDR # 01567, GRADE - DDH: NO.7 ZONE: 240 FT SECTION AVE. 0.32 OPT/5FT AND 150 FT SECTION @ 0.33 OPT/3 FT, PROD. 1939-43 UCHI,HANALDA,GRASETT,JALDA: 114,467 OZ AU, 14,345 OZ AG FROM 757,074 TONS ORE @ 0.15 OPT AU AVERAGE. No.7 zone - 0.66 oz/t Au across 4.6 ft., 0.31 oz/t Au across 20 ft. 0.29 oz/t Au across 4 ft. Two grab samples taken from the No.9 zone assayed 0.02 oz/t Au and 147 ppb Au respectfully. A grab sample taken from No. 15 zone assayed 0.08 oz/t Au.


Mar 29, 2016 (Therese Pettigrew) - The No. 7 zone, on which No. 3 shaft is situated, consists of auriferous silicified and carbonatized, altered diorite associated with pyrite and quartz stringers. Shallow drilling indicated a 240-foot section averaging approximately 0.32 ounces of gold per ton over a width of 5 feet and another section 150 feet long averaging approximately 0.33 ounces of gold per ton over a width of 3 feet (MDC013).
