Geology Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (K R Kettles) - The Laddie property is underlain principally by altered mafic metavolcanic flows. The rocks strike at approximately 100 degs, and dip steeply south. The mafic metavolcanics have been intensely carbonatized, giving them an andesitic to dacitic appearance. The northern half of the property is underlain by a sequence of mafic to intermediate volcanic rocks which occupy a lower stratigraphic position than the sequence of mafic flows. Foliation in the area is generally parallel to stratigraphy.

Mineralization Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (K R Kettles) - Low gold values were obtained from carbonatized, highly sheared mafic metavolcanics. Narrow calcite stringers are reported to contain minor pyrite, pyrrhotite, and chalcopyrite. Only low gold values were obtained in the 1975 drilling program.

Alteration Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (K R Kettles) - The mafic metavolcanics have been intensely carbonatized.
