Lithology Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (K R Kettles) - The area is primarily underlain by basaltic flows, which have been locally sheared. A dioritic dike has been obseved about 60 m south of the gold mineralization. Gold mineralization is found in an area of sheared basaltic flows with stringers of quartz. The shears strike N50 deg W to N60 deg. W and dip 55 deg. to 60 deg. south.
