Lithology Comments

Apr 14, 2020 (Samuel Lewis) - The geology here is largely underlain by massive to foliated mafic flows and thin pyroclastic units that trend in a southeast-northwest orientation. These mafic volcanic rocks are apart of the calc-alkaline dominant McNeely Sequence, and are characterised by pillow or massive textures.

Mineralization Comments

Apr 14, 2020 (Therese Pettigrew) - The mafic metavolcanics are weakly mineralized with disseminated pyrite. Locally, moderate (5%) amounts of fine-grained disseminated pyrrhotite and pyrite are observed within mafic flows Occasionally, the mafic flows take on a somewhat mottled texture due to local clusters of chloritic material (Assessment report 52N04SE0056).

Apr 14, 2020 (Samuel Lewis) - Gold intercepts from drill hole #21 identified significant mineralization of 0.13 oz/t Au over 1 foot in an andesite with 1/8" quartz stringers where the quartz vein material is mineralized with pyrite and chalcopyrite.
