Nov 12, 2014 (K R Kettles) - The Kilbarry property is underlain by altered mafic metavolcanics, which strike NW-SE and dip steeply south. Narrow feldspar porphyry dikes, which are parallel to sub-parallel to stratigraphy, have been observed on the property. The southern part of the area is underlain by the Howey Diorite. The mafic volcanic rocks have been altered. The mineralized zone lies along the south contact of a feldspar porphyry dike with mafic volcanics.

Dec 07, 2005 (K R Kettles) - A mineralized zone approximately 3 m wide which strikes N70 degs W and dips vertically, lies along the south contact of a feldspar porphyry dike with altered mafic volcanics. Chalcopyrite, pyrrhotite, pyrite, and magnetite mineralization is disseminated throughout the zone. High values of copper and gold from core samples have been obtained from drill programs on the property. The best intersections from the 1946-47 program were: 0.98% Cu and 0.24 opt Au/1.46 m; 0.52 % Cu and 0.01 opt Au/5.67 m; and 4.05% Cu and 0.06 opt Au/1.71 m. Average grade from the drilling was: 1.47% CU, 0.065 OPT AU/600' LENGTH 5.4' WIDTH. Significant intersections from the 1980 drilling program included the following: 0.96 OPT AU/1.02 M; 0.091 OPT AU, 1.366 OPT AG, 2.68% CU/0.65 M.
Dec 07, 2005 (K R Kettles) - The mafic metavolcanic rocks near the mineralized zone, and within it, have been silicified and carbonatized, and weak epidotization has been observed in some of the drill core.
