1969: Cochenour Willians Gold Mine Ltd.- HLEM survey, DD-1-61 m Geochem surveys (MMI), Mag Surveys, line cutting, IP, VLF-EM and some drill holes has been conducted since 1969 by various companies. (Goldcorp, Crossroads Explorations, Ansil Resources, Placer Dome Inc, Rupert Resources and Tri Origin Exploration have all done work in the area.

Dec 07, 2005 (K R Kettles) - The occurrence is underlain by units of massive to pillowed magnesian rich metavolcanic flows. Thin units of sulphide iron formation have been recognized in drill core. Rock units generally strike to the northwest and dip at approximately 50 deg. to the southwest. Anomalous silver values are located in quartz-carbonate veins cutting metavolcanics.
