Geology Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (K R Kettles) - The Follansbee property is underlain by felsic volcanics, mafic volcanics and sediments. Mafic volcanics occur in the northern portion of the property, and consists of pillowed flows. The felsic volcanics outcrop in the central portion of the property. Clastic and chemical sedimentary rocks underlie the southern portion of the property. All of the units strike approximately east-west and dip nearly vertically.

Mineralization Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (K R Kettles) - Anomalous gold values occur in a zone of silicified and carbonatized sediments mineralized with pyrite, pyrrhotite, chalcopyrite, and arsenopyrite. The best results from the area are summarized in the following: SURFACE TRENCHES: 0.16 opt Au/1.5 m; 0.26 opt Au/1.5 m; 0.14 opt Au/1.5 m; 0.16 opt Au/4.0 m; 0.10 opt Au/4.3 m. DRILL HOLE F-2: 0.20 opt Au/0.67 m; and 0.14 opt Au/1.3 m.

Sep 01, 2022 (Q Unknown) - 1945: numerous samples taken in trenches, best assay 0.28 opt Au/ 5 ft. 1945: DDH F-1 intersects a wide (28.3ft) low grade (0.03 opt Au) zone at 270.4 ft.

Alteration Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (K R Kettles) - The sediments have been silicified and carbonatized.
