Geology Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (K R Kettles) - The property is underlain by mafic metavolcanic flows and gabbro sills and dikes. Flows are both pillowed and massive, with pillow tops to the northwest. In the vicinity of the showings, a long narrow metagabbro sill/dike intrudes into the metavolcanics. This dike trends NE-SW, perpendicular to the strike(apparrent) of the volcanics. Several small quartz-feldspar porphyry and quartz porphyry dikes are present. The mafic metavolcanics in or adjacent to shear zones have been silicified and carbonatized. The No. 4 vein strikes NW-SE, has been traced along strike for 90 m, and its mineralized width averages 0.21 m.

Lithology Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (K R Kettles) - The mafic metavolcanics include pillowed and massive flows. The gabbro sills and dikes are coarse grained. The minor felsic dikes in the area are quartz-feldspar porphyry and quartz porphyry. The mafic metavolcanics adjacent to the shear zones and veins have been silicified and carbonatized.

Mineralization Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (K R Kettles) - The No. 4 Vein strikes NW-SE, and has been traced by trenching and drilling along strike for 90 m. The mineralized width of the quartz vein averages 0.21 m on surface. Channel sampling on the No. 4 vein returned an average of 0.58 oz/ton Au across 0.21 m for a length of 90 m (25 samples assayed). 6 drill holes along the vein returned low values, the best being 0.09 oz/ton Au across 0.305 m.

May 17, 2022 (Q Unknown) - 1947 channel sampling: returns 0.58 opt Au/8.1 in for 300 ft. 1947 DDH: best 0.09 opt Au/1 ft.

Alteration Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (K R Kettles) - The mafic metavolcanics in or adjacent to shear zones and the quartz veins have been locally silicified and carbonatized.
