1981: Staked by Minorex Ltd., who carried out a geological survey and associated sampling of VLF-EM anomaly. 1988: Pure Gold Resources Inc. conducted prospecting and sampling.

Lithology Comments

Jul 30, 2020 (K R Kettles) - The occurrence is underlain by intermediate pyroclastic volcanic rocks. These units strike at approx. 050 deg. and are steeply dipping. Trenching exposed a 0.2 m wide quartz vein with assayed 0.07 oz/ton (2.4 g/t).

Mineralization Comments

Jul 30, 2020 (K R Kettles) - The occurrence is underlain by intermediate pyroclastic volcanic rocks. These units strike at approx. 050 deg. and are steeply dipping. Trenching exposed a 0.2 m wide quartz vein with assayed 0.07 oz/ton (2.4 g/t). 1980 surface sample: a 25 cm wide shear zone returned assay of 0.10 opt Au, Grade - 1981 DDH on claim SW to occ.: only tr. Au, several low Ag intersections, up to 0.16 opt Ag.


Jul 30, 2020 (Therese Pettigrew) - Grab samples collected in 1988 returned up to 1.123 ppm Au from a quartz vein located at 43+50W 8N (Assessment report 20000006235).
