Dec 07, 2005 (K R Kettles) - The property is underlain by a thick sequence of highly altered, mafic metavolcanics flows. These units strike roughly EW and dip steeply to the south. The ore is hosted in quartz-carbonate veinlets in silicified and carbonatized volcanics.

Dec 07, 2005 (K R Kettles) - The scheelite occurs both as fracture fillings and as fine disseminations in highly silicified and carbonatized metavolcanic rocks. Minor disseminated sulphides are present. Low to fair assays in gold have been obtained from some of the samples. The gold occurs in quartz-carbonate veinlets in the metavolcanics as well. Sampling yielded only low gold values. Of 8 samples taken from a 12 m long trench the best assays were 1.55% WO3/1.5m, 0.52% WO3/1.5m, and 0.26% WO3/ 1.5 m.
Aug 31, 2022 (Q Unknown) - Pre-1951: grab samples assay up to 2.4% WO3 and 0.04 opt Au. 1951: continuous trench samples, assay up to 0.33% WO3/40 ft. 1987-88: numerous DDH, sections for Au assay up to 0.15 /4 ft (UBT-88-75).
Dec 07, 2005 (K R Kettles) - The mafic metavolcanic rocks have been silicified and carbonatized.
