Dec 07, 2005 (K R Kettles) - GEOLOGICAL DESCRIPTION: The occurrence is situated in a quartz-feldspar porphyry dyke which has been intruded into a sequence of greywacke beds. The greywacke beds strike E-W and dip steeply north. The porphyry dyke strikes 070 deg. SE. The greywackes on the north side of the dyke have been strongly sheared. DEPOSIT DESCRIPTION: Gold mineralization occurs in quartz stringers in a quartz-feldspar porphyry dyke. GEOPHYSICAL DATA: No conductors or magnetic anomalies were located.

Dec 07, 2005 (K R Kettles) - MDI1 DATA: GRADE 1937 DDH AND TRENCHES: NUMEROUS VALUES RANGING 0.02-0.1 OPT AU. BEST 0.26 OPT AU/5' @ 320', GRADE 1983 DDH AND TRENCHES: BEST:0.08 OPT AU AND 2.08 OPT AG (TRENCH),BEST:0.36 OPT AU/2',0.11 AU+0.93AG/7' A grab sample from a trench in the porphyry assayed 0.10 oz/ton (3.429 g/tonne) Au. A 12.6 m long section of core from under the trenches averaged 0.05 oz/ton (1.714 g/tonne) Au, the highest assays being 0.10 oz/ton (3.429 g/tonne) Au.
Jul 31, 2020 (Therese Pettigrew) - DDH 92-2 returned 0.01 oz/t Au over 1 foot (0.34 g/t Au over 0.3 m) from the quartz porphyry and 0.07 oz/t Au over 2.5 feet (2.4 g/t Au over 0.76 m) from the target chloritic unit (Assessment report 52N04SW0025). DDH 37-1 returned 0.23 oz/t Au over 15 feet in a pyritic mafic metavolcanics. DDH 84-2 returned up to 0.36 oz/t Au over 2 feet and 0.11 oz/t Au and 0.93 oz/t Ag over 7.1 feet. DDH 84-5 returned up to 0.09 oz/t Au and 0.36 oz/t Ag over 2 feet (Assessment report 52N04NW0021).
Dec 07, 2005 (K R Kettles) - On the north contact of the dyke, the metasediments are strongly sheared and carbonatized. The quartz-feldspar porphyry dyke appears to have been silicified.
