1961: The occurence was covered within the group of claims held by Dickenson Mines Limited. Two diamond drill holes were completed on the claims within the group. 1970: Madsen Red Lake Gold Mines Limited held the occurence in their Pine Option. Three diamond drill holes were completed on claims within the group. 1982: The property was held by C.W. Peterson and optioned to Goldfields Mining Corporation. One diamond drill hole intersected the occurence.

Nov 12, 2014 (A Wilson) - The occurrence is situated in an area underlain by mafic metavolcanic flows interbedded with chemical metaseimentry rocks. The volcancis are strongly foliated, highly carbonatized and chloritized. Pillow structures have been noted on some of the islands around the occurrence.
