Exploration History

1937: Airways Ltd- trenching, sampling and 28 DDH totalling 6500 ft. 1963: Flint Rock Mines - 7 DDH totalling 1999 ft. 1969: Flint Rock Mines - 2 DDH totalling 950 ft. 1987: Flint Rock Mines - IP, resistivity and 6 DDH totalling 2217.6 ft. 2021: Cross River Ventures collected a total of 191 grab samples, including by following up on historical high grade Flint Rock Mine veins.

Mineralization Comments

Mar 21, 2014 (Syed Ali) - No.1 Vein - average width of 0.49 m with an average grade of 0.085 oz/t Au. Grab sample from the No.2 Vein assayed 0.01 oz/t Au, 0.09% Cu and 1.45% Pb. 1937: Prospectors Airways intersected assays as high as 0.43 and 0.77 oz/t Au.1963: Flint Rock - intersected assays as high as 0.8 oz/t Au and 0.72 oz/t Au. 1987: Flint Rock - intersected 1.065 oz/t Au across 0.45 ft., 0.139 oz/t Au across 1.5 ft., 0.145 oz/t Au across 0.39 ft., 0.231 oz/t Au across 0.3 ft., and 0.388 oz/t Au across 0.5 ft. 2021 - Cross River Ventures returned grab samples with results that include 126.00 g/t Au, 8.28 g/t Au and 2.73 g/t Au (Cross River Ventures, news release, August 25, 2021).
