Exploration History

1985-1986: Golden Terrace Resources Corp carried out airborne geophysical survey, geological mapping, rock and soil geochemical survey and diamond drilling. Two diamond drill holes intersected gold mineralization. 1996: Moss Resources Inc. drilled 1 DDH totalling 152.1 m. 2008: Property was staked by Norcanex Resources Ltd. and Tri Origin optioned the claim. 2009: Tri Origin Exploration contracted Aeroquest to complete 1303.38 line-km of helicopter time domain electromagnetic and magnetics on the Sky Lake property. 2010: Tri Origin Exploration Ltd. completed a mineral soil/humus and a small mapping and rock geochemistrysurveys over sections of the claim group which were determined by interpreting the VTEM data from the Aeroquest survey flown in 2009. 2011: Norcanex Resources Ltd. changes its name to Litrinor Metals Inc. 2011 Tri Origin Exploration Ltd. completed cutting of a 39.3 line kilometer grid, staked additional contiguous claims to the east and optioned two claims from Manicouagan Minerals Inc completing a soil/humus survey over them. Over the cut grid 15.8 km of detailed Induced Polarization and 39.3 km of Total Field Magnetics were completed. 2012: Tri Origin Exploration Ltd. completed a mineral soil and humus sample survey on portions of the property. A total of 346 humus and 433 mineral samples were collected plus a 7 hole diamond drill program totaling 1180 m. 2015: Kitrinor Metals Inc tranferred 80% ownership of claims to Tri Origin. Tri completed outcrop mapping, cut three north-south metric lines totaling 4,880 meters for Dipole-dipole, IP survey and completed an additional (73 soil, 127 humus) geochemical survey.

Geology Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (B Nelson) - This occurrence consists of 3 diamond-drill core intersections cut in 2 diamond-drill holes. All three intersections are contained within a succession of mixed intermediate to mafic tuffaceous metavolcanics and siltstones. All three intersections are quartz veins, but each quartz vein has a different mineralogical composition.

Mineralization Comments

Jun 15, 2020 (B Nelson) - The first intersection made was in diamond-drill hole number BL 85-2. The intersection assayed 0.062 ounce gold per ton (2.126 g/t Au) over 0.25 m from 44.19 m to 44.44 m down the hole. This intersection is a quartz tourmaline vein with possible traces of pyrite (Assessment report 52O02NE0008). The second and third intersections were cut in diamond-drill hole number BL 86-3. The upper intersection, from 140.7 m to 141.42 m down the hole, is described in the drill log as an interval of core containing up to 60 percent 2-to-4 mm quartz-carbonate veins with no observed sulphides. The interval returned an assay value of 1400 ppb Au over 0.72 m. The lower intersection, cut between 286.05 m and 286.86 m down hole BL 86-3 returned an assay of 2900 ppb Au and/or 0.06 ounce gold per ton over 0.81 m. (2900 ppb Au converts to 0.085 ounce gold per ton.) This intersection is described in the drill log as white-to-clear quartz-carbonate-pyrrhotite vein. The pyrrhotite comprises 30 to 40 percent of the vein (Assessment report 52O02NE00070.
