Mineralization Comments

Feb 08, 2007 (Mark Puumala) - This occurrence is based on two anomalous gold assays reported in Dome Exploration ddh 172-7 (AFRI# 52O09NW0010). The anomalous gold values were reported within 22 m of top of the borehole from basalt containing quartz veins mineralized with pyrrhotite (up to 5%) and pyrite (up to 3%). The upper 25 m of the drill hole section was dominated by basalt. The mafic metavolcanics are underlain to the southwest by an iron formation that was intersected over s length of approximately 62 m. This iron formation is in turn underlain by mafic metavolcanics to the southwest. No notable gold assays were reported from the iron formation. The most notable reported assay was 7.89 g/t Au over 0.5 m.
