Mineralization Comments

Dec 28, 2006 (Mark Puumala) - This occurrence is based on a number of reported anomalous gold assays from three diamond drill holes advanced by Kaw Crow Patricia Gold Mines in 1936 (KC-11, 12 and 26) and one drill hole advanced by Marietta Resource Corporation in 1981 (MA-P-81-15). The geology in the vicinity of this occurrence is reported by North (1986) to be dominated by felsic to intermediate metavolcanic rocks that include tuff, agglomerate and pyroclastic flows. Stratigraphy in the area generally strikes 030, with steep northwesterly dip. All of the anomalous gold assays reported from this area were obtained from samples of quartz-carbonate vein material. These veins/veinlets are typically reported in diamond drill hole logs to be mineralized with disseminated sulphides including pyrite and chalcopyrite. The most favourable reported assays from this occurrence include 0.09 oz/ton over 0.18 m from Kaw Crow Patricia ddh KC-26 (AFRI# 52O08NE0072) and 0.04 oz/ton over 0.15 m from Marietta Resource Corporation ddh MA-P-81-15 (Hodge 1981).

Jan 21, 2022 (Q Unknown) - 1936: KC-11,12,26 various intersections - up to 0.09 oz au/ton ($3.15). 1981: MAP-81-15 at 174.5 ft - 0.04 oz Au/ton / 0.5 ft.
