Mineralization Comments

Feb 07, 2007 (Mark Puumala) - This occurrence is based on an anomalous gold assay reported in Dome Exploration ddh 172-142 (AFRO# 52O08NE0054). The anomalous gold value occurs near the top of an approximately 40 m wide section of iron formation. This iron formation unit is cross-cut in two locations by albite porphyry and is underlain to the northwest by material logged as intermediate tuff. The gold mineralization is reported in material logged as chert amphibole iron formation with 3% pyrite, and minor garnet and graphite. The most notable reported assay was 1.37 g/t Au over 1.0 m.
