Access Description: This occurrence is located about 20 km south-southwest of Pickle Lake. It is exposed in a trench, on the west shore of the creek between Little Ochig Lake and Kasagiminnis Lake, about 1.2 km south of the south end of Little Ochig Lake. Access to this occurrence is by appropriately equipped aircraft to Little Ochig Lake and then a traverse overland.
1987: Power Explorations Inc. conducted ground mag and EM surveys over a claim group covering this occurrence. 1988: Power Explorations Inc. did geological mapping, lithogeochemical sampling and trenching on their claim group. The occurrence was discovered during this time. 1988-89: Power Explorations Inc., in joint venture with Champion Gold Resources Inc., completed a 32-hole, 3318.17 m, diamond-drilling program on a claim group covering this occurrence, including 1 DDH totalling 90 m on this showing.

12/17/1996 (B Nelson) - Little Ochig #3 is a quartz pod within an iron formation within a succession of mafic metavolcanics. Little Ochig #4 (210 m to the NNE of #3), is a 10 inch quartz vein cutting a mafic metavolcanic flow.

12/17/1996 (B Nelson) - A grab sample of the quartz pod at Little Ochig Lake #3 containing 1%-2% pyrite returned 1818 ppb Au. A grab sample of the quartz vein in the trench at Little Ochig Lake #4, 210 m NNW of #3, returned an assay of 2604 ppb Au (Assessment report 52O08SE0027).
05/29/2020 (T Pettigrew) - DDH OH-88-18 returned up to 183 ppb Au over 0.91 m from a mafic tuff with garnet and magnetite (Assessment report 52O08SW0002).
