Mineralization Comments

Oct 10, 2018 (Mark Puumala) - This occurrence is based on an anomalous nickel assay of 1480 ppm reported by Stone (1998b) from a grab sample (Sample 88DCS004) collected from an ultramafic intrusion near the eastern shore of McInnes Lake that is shown on OGS map P3217 (Stone and Crawford, 1993). An anomalous chromium assay of 3700 ppm was also reported from this sample. No mineralogical information is provided regarding the likely source of the nickel and chromium anomalies.
