Mineralization Comments

Oct 10, 2018 (Mark Puumala) - This occurrence is based on an anomalous nickel assay of 1910 ppm reported by Stone (1998b) from a grab sample (Sample 88DCS010) of ultramafic rock collected from a gabbroic intrusion shown on OGS Map P3217 (Stone and Crawford, 1993) near the south end of McInnes Lake. An anomalous chromium assay of 3580 ppm was also reported from this sample. No mineralogical information is provided regarding the likely source of the nickel and chromium anomalies.
