Jun 06, 2007 (Mark Puumala) - Wood (1977) indicates that his occurrence is an approximately 110 m wide and 2 km long iron formation that is hosted within a metavolcanic rock sequence. This iron formation strikes approximately north-south and dips 60 degrees toward the east. OGS Map 2362 (Wood 1977) suggests that the iron formation has been offset dextrally by a northeast-striking fault mapped to the north of East Bay. Shlanka (1968) indicates that this deposit has an estimated grade of 25 to 35% Fe.
