Nov 01, 2007 (Mark Puumala) - Ayres (1971) describes this occurrence as a chalcopyrite mineralized quartz vein hosted in gabbro. The host intrusion is also reported to contain sparse chalocopyrite mineralization. Mapping by Ayres (1972) indicates that the gabbro intrusion is hosted within a sequence of intermediate metavolcanics. Assay results of 0.1% W and 0.16% Cu were reported by Ayres (1971) from this location.
