Nov 01, 2007 (Mark Puumala) - This is a discretionary occurrence based on an assay of 0.19% copper reported by Ayres (1972) from a grab sample of intermediate metavolcanics mineralized with disseminated chalcopyrite. This occurrence is located in close proximity to an approximately east-trending fault zone referred to as the NE Twinpeaka lineament by Whittaker (1989). It is also near the contact with granitoid rocks that mark the northern boundary of the Favourable Lake greenstone belt.
