Nov 01, 2007 (Mark Puumala) - Ayres (1972a) describes this occurrence as a 2.5 to 75 cm wide, northwest-trending carbonate-cemented breccia zone hosted in intermediate to felsic metavolcanics. Mineralization consists of disseminated pyrite and chalcopyrite. Mapping by Ayres (1972a) indicates that the occurrence is located immediately south of a west-northwest-trending gabbro sill, while a foliation measurement of 255/55 was recorded nearby in the metavolcanic host rocks Ayres (1972a) reports that three grab samples collected from this zone assayed between 0.24 and 0.85% Cu.
