This occurrence is based on the results of a grab sample reported by Ayres (1972).

Nov 21, 2014 (Mark Puumala) - Ayres (1972) describes this occurrence as consisting of disseminated pyrite and chalcopyrite in narrow quartz-carbonate lenses hosted by felsic to intermediate metavolcanics. Mapping by Ayres (1972) indicates that the occurrence is located immediately east of a north-striking feldspar porphyry dike. Foliation in the metavolcanics is indicated to be oriented approximately 175/60.
