Aug 16, 2019 (Therese Pettigrew) - The lithology of the main showings at Tully-Burton consist of a southward-facing sequence of high-magnesium, tholeiitic pillowed basalt with thin bands of chert-magnetite iron formation up to 0.3 m thick, overlain by 5 m of mafic lapilli tuff, followed by one metre of intermediate volcanics and by ten metres of rhyodacite, which is overlain by massive mafic volcanic flows. A strongly silicified zone of felsic volcanics carries pyrite and black and grey-white quartz veins with up to 10% pyrrhotite. Mafic volcanic flows with thin banded chert magnetite iron formation overlain by intermediate pyroclastics and felsic ash tuff were observed in trenches 200 m to the west of the main showings (von Guttenberg, 2003).

Jan 09, 2012 (A McKee) - GRADE 1938: ODM GRAB SAMPLES ASSAY UP TO 0.13 OPT AU, GRADE 1983: SEVERAL DDH (WAVANO), BEST ASSAY 0.04 OPT /10 FT, GRADE 1988: GRAB SAMPLE (GOLDEYE) FROM TRENCH ASSAYS 0.245 OPT AU.
Aug 16, 2019 (Therese Pettigrew) - Wavano’s DDH 1 returned up to 0.04 oz/t Au (1.37 g/t Au) over 0.46 m. DDH 2 assayed up to 0.03 oz/t Au (1.03 g/t Au) over 1.5 m (Assessment report 53F03SW8149). Trenching in 1937 returned gold values of 0.02 to 0.13 oz/t Au (0.69 to 4.46 g/t Au) from four grab samples of chloritic iron formation. Trenching in 1977-78 returned values of up to 0.30 oz/t Au over 5.5 feet (10.3 g/t Au over 1.7 m) and 0.06 oz/t Au over 37 feet in trench #2 (2.1 g/t Au over 11.3 m), and 1.63 oz/t Au over 10 feet (55.9 g/t Au over 3.0 m) in Trench #1. Chip samples taken in 1988 returned assays of 149 to 958 ppb Au and one assay of 8410 ppb Au (Assessment report 53F03SW0006).
