Mineralization Comments

Aug 15, 2019 (Therese Pettigrew) - All of the core from the 1972 drill program was described as either greenstone (mafic metavolcanics) or gabbro with a few quartz veins and disseminated chalcopyrite. No assays were reported (Assessment report 53F14NE9291). Kennco reported that in the vicinity of Wigwam Lake, both sulfide-bearing quartz veins and narrow sulfide-rich tuffaceous horizons carry anomalous gold, silver, and base metal values. The quartz veins show base metal sulfides in addition to pyrite. Sample 7670 assayed 981 ppb Au and 3.3 ppm Ag. Sample 7671 (located at approximately NAD83 Zone 15, 492877 m E, 5970929 m N) assayed 942 ppb Au and 6.2 ppm Ag. Sample 7667 (located at approximately NAD83 Zone 15, 492042 m E, 5970633 m N) assayed 732 ppb Au and 14.6 ppm Ag. Sample 7668 (could not be found on a map, but should be close to 7667, at grid location 175W 075N) assayed 968 ppb Au and 99.8 ppm Ag (Assessment report 53F15NE2001).

Jan 13, 2023 (Q Unknown) - Sulphides occur in Early Precambrian fine-grained gabbro and chloritic rock. Chalcopyrite and galena were found with disseminated pyrite. The best interesection was in Hole 1 on claim KRL 54554 from 74 to 74.6 feet: 0.26% Pb, 0.44 oz/t Ag, tr Au (drill log report 13, 1965).
