Geological map of the area by Satterly (1937). 1967: operation Lingman Lake was completed ODM preliminary maps P432 and P426 and incorporated ODM map 2178. 1976: Conwest Exploration carried out detailed ground magnetometer surveys and drilled three diamond drill holes. 1986: Lake Ponask Gold Corp conducted a diamond drill program.
