Access Description: The Property can be accessed by bush plane from Red Lake, or from Big Trout Lake located approximately 110 kilometres southeast.



Exploration History

1936-42: Sachigo River Exploration Co. Ltd. - trenching, ground geophysics, DD-65-12,218 ft; UG DD 142-12,118 ft, shaft development to 1139 ft with levels at 125, 250, 375m 500,650, 800, 950 and 110 ft.; 4504 ft lateral development. Onsite mill rated at 25 tpd. 1961: Flint Rock Mines Ltd. - mapping, ground geophysics, DD-23-6245. 1980: Long Lac Mineral Exploration Ltd. optioned the property and conducted magnetometer and VLF surveys, and prospecting and sampling. 1983: Lac Minerals - DD. 1988: Canadian Nickel Co. Ltd. drilled 2 DDH totalling 250 m. 1990: Inco - DD. 2009-2011: Gods Lake Resources Ltd. - exploration

Mineralization Comments

Nov 21, 2014 (A Wilson) - A 2 foot thick section of a drill hole completed on the No 2 vein in 1936 intersected 28 oz/t Au. Diamond drilling by Lac Minerals in 1983 returned a best drill intersection of 0.1 oz/t Au from DDH SA-83-4. The best assay from diamond drilling completed by Inco in 1990 returned 4.05 g/t Au over 2.16 m at 81.78 m.
